Jayne Mills
FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL | AISTD (Dip.B.M) A.I.D.T.A | M.R.A.D | A.A.A.D Equity Member
Jayne trained at the Northern Ballet School, Manchester and graduated in 1984, qualified as an Associate to teach I.S.T.D Ballet and National Dance. Jayne later taught in Norwich for an I.S.T.D examiner, and then furthered her studies to teach I.S.T.D Modern and Tap.
In 1986 Jayne opened her first dance school in Lancaster and qualified as an Associate of the AAD in acrobatics. She has taught movement and dance in local Primary and Secondary Schools, and lectured at Kendal College for Early Years Learning in Pre-School Child Development. On top of this Jayne was contracted by Impact International to facilitate various sales and leadership team events, whose clients include ‘Google’, using the medium of dance to assist talent development in the corporate sector. Jayne is a licensed RAD Silver Swans teacher, adjudicates at dance festivals in the UK, has appeared in Emmerdale, Coronation Street and Lovejoy as a featured extra, and regular appears on BBC Radio Cumbria.
Hannah Mills
PRINCIPAL TEACHER | BA (hons) Theatre Dance | A.A.A.D | Personal Trainer | Pre & Post Natal Exercise
Having trained and graduated from London Studio Centre in 2010 with BA (hons) Theatre Dance, Hannah went on to tour the UK in the musical ‘Shaun’s Big Show’. After completing her tour, she returned to London where she completed various theatre and commercial dance jobs, as well as working for the BBC, ITV and Cactus TV, going on to work as a freelance assistant floor manager.
Later Hannah qualified as an Associate of the AAD in Acrobatics and is also a qualified personal trainer, specialising in pre & post natal exercise.
Hannah has worked with brands including ‘Vodaphone’, ‘Fitness First’ and ‘Mornflake Oats’, presented at ‘Be:Fit London’ and appeared on ‘Share Radio’, as well as co-hosting ‘The Honest Mummies’ Podcast – spreading her passion for healthy living.
Miss Lianne
ACTING TEACHER | First Class Honours at The Royal Central School of Speech & Drama
Miss Lianne trained at The Royal Central School of Speech & Drama graduating with First Class Honours in 2009. Lianne’s first role was in “Orientations” at The Soho Theatre, West End London which also toured Stockholm & Shanghai. She has performed alongside Plan B at Wembley Stadium, featured in The NewLook Christmas Campaign and a nationwide campaign for De Beers Diamonds. Lianne was also a member of an all female theatre group devising performances that combine acting & movement taking inspiration from acclaimed companies such as Frantic Assembly and DV8.
Lianne has worked across theatre, film, radio & commercials and is excited to return to Rigney Bank Ballet School (where she attended many years ago!) to share her passion and love for theatre and acting.
Miss Emilie
DANCE TEACHER | BA (hons) Primary Education P.G.C.E
Emilie trained during her early years at Rigney Bank Ballet School gaining ISTD higher level examinations in ballet and modern dance.
She later went on to qualify as a primary school teacher with early years specialism. Her passion is teaching, and she loves to share her knowledge through dance and performance.
